fantano's opinions on hardcore music in general just strike me as so confusing

pretty sure I've disagreed with almost every one of Fantano's takes on punk music. the man's taste for the genre is complete ass

also this record is probably the best punk record of the year. Renounced's new record is growing on me though, that'll likely be aoty for me

I'm genuinely confused as to why anyone gives a shit about this Fartardo guy anyway, I have only ever seen him ref'd on this site and outside of that, I wouldn't have a clue who he was. Are there really people giving that much credence to his opinions, that it could effect the overall average of an album here - isn't he just some Youtube reviewer? i.e. a nobody with an opinion, like the rest of us.
