extremely catchy, almost poppy, mellow, still going with that safe neo-soul sound, absolutely no edge or a strong sense of personality excepting WHAT'S GOOD which has about 5 times less passion than half the tracks on Cherry Bomb.
feels like a radio friendly version of some cherry bomb moments
mostly flatly uninteresting aside from the sound of the production

I mean that’s fair I don’t want him doing the Goblin Schtick all over again, but this album doesn’t even try to cover controversial topics or anything eyebrow raising, which was even true of Flower Boy. This doesn’t really have much of anything to say, even though the music and song writing style is still great.
