I haven’t decided my thoughts on this yet. Real Love is quite incredible. Everything He Needs is abysmal. I do know that. It’s that kinda album.

I also do not understand how I can hate Everything He Needs and defend M83’s Junk so there’s also that. My mind is apparently all tangled up over this.

Good review. I definitely hear the disco elements. Sometimes IMO it limits her, but the album is still so fun that it doesn't matter much. I feel her lyrics have grown in sophistication.
