It’s what my one buddy reccomended me since I dug Midori so much, and I can see quite a lot of similarities.

the similarities are totally surface level imo. the way the two bands approach songwriting (in terms of dynamics, pacing and structure, emphasis on melody), the feel and energy of their material (especially in terms of rhythm), and most obviously the styles and influences they incorporate...other than the fact that they're both noisy japanese bands with shouty female vocals, the actual music they make is worlds apart. it's like comparing number girl to ajikan, or in perhaps more broadly understandable terms, blur and oasis.
