So much better than LP1 in my opinion. This album has its own identity whereas LP1 was just DGD songs on steroids.

I like LP1 more but this one rules too. LP1 felt more chaotic imo which I loved but I haven't really had a chance to let this one settle in yet.

meh i'm probably underestimating it since i tolerate the mess-era DGD a lot more but it's been a while

i don't particularly mind the mess-isms (though I don't love the whole pee pee/poo poo lines in "lightning") but this is pretty usual nonsensical mess fare with some oddly poignant lines sprinkled throughout

A Lot Like Birds and Dillinger in the similar band’s list, looks like I need this asap.

love how these guys just throw 3-4 riffs over a drum beat and call it a song. and super love how that formula works so well here. also I don't hear any clean singing am I missing something here?
