I like Palms well enough, but another version of it would bore me

Palms is ok. I really liked a few songs, one or two were decent and the rest were really boring and uninspired imo. I think I still have it at a 3 tho, not bad at all. Just a bit bland.

Yeah agreed. Luckily, they played all of the songs I like as well (Only Us, Beyond the Pines, Just Breathe). Great setlist on that tour in general.

Hell yeah, they put on a great show. Was tempted to go see them with BMTH, but an opening setlist is so abbreviated that it’s not really worth it. I do like BMTH, have never seen them live and would like to someday, but Thrice >>>> BMTH. If Thrice were headlining and BMTH opening, it would be no question. I’d be fucking going.

Palms tour, Here in LA at the Wiltern theater. Which is a great venue. Small, great acoustics and general admission. I’ve seen Soundgarden, Mudvayne and Chevelle there as well.



That’s another thing about the BMTH/Thrice show: it was at the Forum down in Inglewood, not a fan of that place. Slipknot show sounded pretty bad there. And it was on Valentine’s Day...and I’m married lol.

Yeah smaller venues are great for that kind of thing; saw Daughter in my tiny hometown venue and the acoustics were perfect for the huge swells and atmospheric elements to their sound

Haha I know a few as well! But I re-read my sentence and can see how confusing it was. The BMTH/Thrice show was actually on Valentine’s Day, that Slipknot show I hit at the Forum was on the All Hope Is Gone tour.
