Debut and Biophilia by Björk are both among my favorite album covers. A lot of the time, pop musicians just slap their faces on the cover, but if an artist actually manages to make the photo express something, why not. This cover is a whole different story though. It's obviously not about her, it's about the room. And its colors. And it being under water. She is there (would look pretty empty without someone, might as well be herself), but that's not the point.

I'm admittedly kind of a sucker for elaborate room photography (like Jee Young-lee's art), so there's that. This cover's atmosphere reminds me of Wong Kar-wai films ... and it fits the album well.
