Depends tbh - if you want easy gratification, go Tokyo Black Hole and chase it with Kusokawa Party. If you want an even slower grower while she was still an indie-folk artist, go for Zettai Kanojo and work backwards. If you're not sure, check PINK and see how you feel afterwards - that EP stirs the shit like no-one's business

Need to dip back into Ayano, she is so cosy (you might wanna check Kayoko Yoshizawa if she's more your jam). Most indie folk Seiko is not so cosy, so you're probs best starting with Amai and Handmade Home and rolling from there

I’ve listened to her (kayoko) last two records a couple of times each actually! Dug them for sure but got sidetracked with this, macaroom, and fermenting dregs lolol.
but yeah, ayano isn’t the most groundbreaking but her voice just does it for me, and it’s something that I can play in any mood

Wow, huge. I'd always assumed Seiko's husband would be a henpecked salaryman who didn't want any limelight and held down a comfy-ish job loosely to do with showbiz, but that's about the best calibre you'll get for a power couple
