I'm anticipating it a lot. I'm a bit worried about it, but hopefully the whole of it strengthens the pre-release singles

yeah i've been lukewarm on the singles, crossing fingers though. saw them last week at a festival and were wonderful as always, Kiss Me Crying is a lot better live

Yeah I'm hoping for some surprises, the singles (except for Viv) really grew on me big time but they're definitely lacking the cataclysmic passion of their previous work.

Schoonda were you at Hills are Alive? How was their setlist??

yeah i was man, was a wet one that's for sure!

oh jeez i was pretty out of it by that point haha, but from my memory, they played all the singles from the new record, choke (closed the set with that), 91 your house, loaf, talking (i think), happy in your head, laundry echo and only I feel fine I feel sick from their first record.

That sounds pretty sick!! Shame they didn't do anything more from the debut or Luck, but when I've seen them they've been good enough live that I've barely even minded.

Like I saw them at Max Watt's a couple years ago and barely knew their tunes at the time, was still one of the best performances I've EVER seen.

I've been seeing them live for the better part of 4 years now so I've caught my fair share of material from both those releases fortunately. I would love some older songs but understand that bands are obviously going to gravitate to their newer stuff.

DUDE! That was the best fucking lineup ever! Press Club, Slowly Slowly, Smith STREET and Ceres? Insane. Yeah that was a killer gig man

Nice one!! My god, the surprise Wil pulled on the crowd by bringing out the whole Smith Street Band is totally unforgettable. What a show, every one of those bands is great.

Though Slowly Slowly can *sometimes* be hit or miss for me.

the chats are the worst thing to happen to Australian music in a long time.

Looking forward to the read Ponton - so far I'm really enjoying it! The Collarbone callback actually got me a little emotional too.
