@Trifolium Lemme tell you something: you appreciate his fusion stuff wayyyyy more once you get the context of his discog. It's really impressive to see how he developed as an artist, pretty much always staying at the front of the current jazz movement. Granted, his 80s works aren't the best, but we don't mention those...

Cool, looking forward to see how he got there yeah. I've heard Steamin' and then nothing all the way up to In A Silent Way (which I loved a lot by the way!). Bitche's Brew was cool too, but I guess I have to delve deeper into it to see what the fuss is all about. It think it needs some focussed attention for it to truly shine.
