Yeah what this is so much better than Singularity. This definitely did have to grow on me though, but my how it has grown. I can’t get enough of this damn album.

A lot of it just makes me cringe. Idk. I do think the singles released a while back are better than the bulk of what’s here. But this thing is heavily mixed. It’s quite clear to see which ones were given extra attention and which ones weren’t. I mean I love Mae, but this ain’t it.

guys this record is really good, basically great. I dont think their pianist showed up for this one. That's why its missing some of the emotional/instrumental layering.

but it is a great r3cord. and when i heard the overview at first i was like wtf no. but if u go into this r3cord as an experience, and just roll w/ it, u will connect with every song. the overview is a great song to me now. the only song i dont really care for is let it die. the lyrics on this record are interesting too and relevant to modern society.

the other song i didnt like at first is 'u fall when u hesitate', but now its like my top song, so ya this needs a few listens to connect. Its like there is new technology going on in the music...vocoders/harmonizers, but within it is a really interesting emotional mae record.

my fav songs as of now are:

sing

u fall when u hesit8

race 4 autonomy
