I forget who told me to count my page breaks but that's about number 8 since I've started counting.

Doomsday still has probably the best hook on this album, which really is a bit disappointing considering how long it's been out now. You'd think they'd save some better hooks for the album, especially with how much they're repeated. The hook for Hereafter is the only one that comes close.
I will say though...I heard from a source that they were going to put the piano reprise on Holy Hell, but it turns out they put the original song on here. Would've been interesting to hear the piano reprise in between The Seventh Circle and A Wasted Hymn, but I can't help but feel like people would have been thrown off.

FearThyEvil that was a super subjective point that basically came off as, "I don't like Architects so they're generic". If Architects are so generic give us specific examples of bands that incorporate all the elements they do and executes them as well as they do.

It's interesting how Death Is Not Defeat picks up some lines of Memento Mori

It's equally interesting how that song also does away with the unconventional song structure of the song it is meant to follow up and instead bombards us with five repeats of the same hook. But I'm nitpicking...

Listened to it in full now. It's quite good I'd say, but it doesn't hook me tbh, it has become quite tiring and I lived LFLT and liked AOGHAU. Seventh Circle is a banger though. Please more in that vein

"Seventh Circle is a banger though. Please more in that vein" [x2]
Have that shit repeat at least 3 times every time it comes up.
Also I agree with NonApplicable, I love both ETID and Architects and I don't think any of them are generic/boring. I often find myself listening to other newer metalcore bands that remind me of them but rarely the other way round.

ETID's last four albums will destroy any of the stuff Architects have released so far any day

I love ETID but they're a completely different band dude.

The weak tracks are skipworthy, but the strong tracks have been on repeat. Oddly enough, it's the singles. They've never been a band I'm big on the deep cuts for anyways. Great release nonetheless.

Agreed. Just saw someone mention them in the comments.

Every song sounds identical on this.
That's not a bad thing, as I like many hyper consistent metal bands as well. It just so happens that I don't like these guys' modern shtick as much as others, so this is def an album I will never listen to again.

@nonapplicable I can think of two examples that sound exactly like architects
As A Conceit sound exactly the same
The first song on the new Erra album sounds like Doomsday
That’s all I got currently

You weren't kidding about As A Conceit. They sound like a cheap rip-off.
