New song was indeed excellent, high hopes for the album. Don’t see how it could be any less than great with Phoebe and Julien combining forces, and Lucy is pretty good too.

The record is a bit better than this, but not much more and not as strong as either of Phoebes solo records or the first two Julien Bakers. Better than Little Oblivions or anything I’ve heard from Lucy Dacus. Tracks 3-6 and Anti-Curse are my favs on first listen. Not sure how to find out who wrote what other than going by who’s singing on each song.

New one is a certain improvement on this, but I somehow still prefer every member involved solo. The Record has a few gems but a lot of it also sounds the same.
