Weird for Nick to subliminally side with Lex on this one. As far as I remember both of them are on record stating that they are NOT friends, just bandmates.
Whatever the truth may be, it honestly wouldn't surprise me if Lex was like that. He's always seemed very mentally unhinged.

I mean yeah sure but still..im gonna hold out to pass judgement until she comes out with it all like she seems to say she will when ready. I remember a few years ago a DJ I absolutely love got accused of drugging 2 girls in his hotel room and obviously 'Believe the victim' and all that plus I met him once and he was a right fking weirdo. So just figured its probably true. Turned out to be absolute horse shit. Hed been dropped by his label immedietly and everything that comes with it. Sticks forever that shit so you gotta know its the truth. I also know peeps who know Kristen and say shes an absolute sweet heart but you just never know what goes on behind close doors. For 2 artists I love this fucking sucks. Damn

yeah nick and alexis' beef was a big part of why Daughters split up for so long, didn't it take a setup where they accidentally had dinner together to smooth things over?
And idk what counts as 'subliminal' about that post, seems very direct on its implications and platform. ditto everyone who said this sucks but is big time unsurprising

I been reading up on some of her interviews trying to find any clues there or statements about her relationship with him. There is this one interview in Decibel where she says he's a sex addict he would constantly cheat on her but that's all she says. I'd have to assume there's something else as otherwise "abuser" seems like an overreaction. But I also haven't read the lyrics to her latest album so maybe there's something more specific there.
