I hate to be 'that guy' but I really could not stand this album bar a few cuts. Maybe this genre just isn't for me because I reacted to Xiu Xiu's latest in the same way. I love noise as much as the next guy but I prefer like Swans or Hella or Lightning Bolt. It felt really uncomfortable to listen to just like "Girl with Basket of Fruit" but I guess that's kinda the point? After taking a look at their older albums I hate them also, if not even more so I guess I'll just never be a Daughters fan. Hopefully I don't sound like a troll because everyone but me and that 1 guy that 1.5d it loves this. Power to you guys but I'm staying away from this band for the rest of my life. 2.5d this purely because of Satan in the Wait and Ocean Song
