Haven't fully heard this album yet, but gotta agree about the lyrical quality of Behemoth. They always seem well constructed opposed to just someone tossing a bunch of anti-religious imagery in a verse; I find it intellectually interesting to listen to.

After several listens and enough time to formulate an honest opinion with myself, this album is one of the most mediocre of their new era. It's not bad, it's not great, it's just so.. okay. It reminds me a lot of Evangelion. Just kinda another Behemoth album for the books. Perhaps my opinion will change, but for now I'll stick with the Satanist

Evangelion is so much better than this tbh

I gave it one more spin & nothing positive came out of it, well apart from the fact I get to delete it forever & free up some space.

what dungeonboy said, but insert 'Demigod' instead of 'The Satanist'...

Nah, he was right with The Satanist.

Also, I prefer Zos Kia Cultas to Demigod. Demigod's insane over excessive use of the layered vocal work makes it impossible for me to understand anything. ZKC used it more sparingly and also I just think the songs are better for the most part tbh

I don't know bro.. everything after Demigod is just more of the same with little to no new 'personality' to it...
I actually am not bothered by the layered vocals and songwriting wise Demigod stands out for me... way more interesting, varied AND brutal than ZKC

Well ZKC was before Demigod but you think The Satanist sounds like their previous work? Agree to disagree hard on that one man, each song sounds quite different imo and the album as a whole is a totally different feel than their previous work musically speaking. Evangellion, Apostasy and Demigod all sound similar to me tbh

Well i gotta confess that I didn't spend much time on the Satanist. What I heard didn't grab my attention too much. But yeah, main sample for my argument is the dullness of The Apostasy and Evangelion...

Dude I love doing this, such a good feeling. It means more free space for porn :D

But now I'm at the point where porn has taken over, and deleting porn for more porn is always bittersweet.

Oh yeah I feel you. Always a difficult decision. That final fap goodbye always brings mixed feelings.
