Great review, don't care for Sugar Cane its corny af but besides that the album is pretty fun and has some great moments.
My antidode, mind your manners and driving rain are definitely highlights for me

Loved your review manos. The album itself is not bad, not something really special though.

"a less tiresome listen compared to World on Fire" I totally see what you're saying but I do think World on Fire has more bangers than this one, specially after a few more listens.
Do you still feel the same manos?

I think, yes. I remember I really liked World on Fire's first half but as a whole it felt too much. But I really need to give it another shot in order to be certain. This one also lacks a track like "Anastasia" imo.

It can definitely feel tiresome... but the second half of wof has the dissident, the unholy and battleground which are awesome imo
Either way, going with 12 songs is probably for the best

Indeed. Having a reasonable runtime, really helps maintaining a high level of energy which is important in hard rock. But, as always, it also depends on the quality of songs.

The One You Loved actually has some Mayfield Four vibes up to some point, which is always a good thing in my book.
Had never gotten that till just now

Say what you will about this album, but Mind Your Manners is really, really, really, good.

New single is actually nice...
Still wish they'd try something completely different but as long as there is an audience I'm guessing they'll stay in their comfort zone and that's fine
