Nothing goes harder than I Never That I Was Brave. You can't sit there and tell me you wouldn't crowdkill for the lord on songs like Flamethrower and, especially, Dying Is Strange And Hard.

haha my old college roommate and I used to go ballistic any time they'd play Gentlemen, and would do the stupidest "pit" bs we dubbed the "gentlemen crawl," but it always made those particular shows more memorable.

Saw these guys live last Tuesday and in all honestly the instrumentals were incredible and so, so well done … but the vocal performance was really rough. I found it unfortunately hard to look past and I honestly wished for most tracks that they were just playing instrumentals.

OTHER THAN Rainbow Signs which was absolutely incredible and a huge treat to scream along live to.

Saw them for the last time on Saturday, incredible show.

They had to cancel their stop here on the Brother Sister tour, so they played the whole thing this time around. Great energy in the room, very bittersweet. It's hard to believe I'll never see them play again.

Flew out to Brooklyn to see them this Thursday, stoked and sad, and all of the feelings in between.

Yeah this album is definitely my favorite of theirs and is the perfect swan song. But depending on my mood, either this, Pale Horses, or Brother Sister tends to sound like their best to me. That said, I also go on huge Ten Stories and/or CFUTF streaks where I listen to nothing else. What an amazing discog.

Pale Horses is definitely my favorite but this would probably be second. Excellent discography all around.

PH and CFUTF/TS are forever their best three

this is a satisfying note to bow out on and v much wraps up their later discog, but it's forever a benchwarmer compared to the real tops

PH has some stellar tracks but I think it has some noticeably weak tracks too. CFUTF = B,S > this > TS > the rest

I like PH's overall atmosphere and apocalyptic vibes better, but this has a higher frequency of excellent songs and also has its own amazing themes about mental health, religion, and existence.
