This band to me is the definition of "greater than the sum of its parts".
Most of their songs have great moments which elevates the overall album it's part of, but I don't really have the urge to listen to any individual tracks.
The only exception is The Blackest Reaches, that song is still a banger.

The album art for this is amazing! Not gonna lie I was really hype about this guys when I found them when Existence is Futile dropped but they lost my attention pretty quickly after honestly. Gonna play catch up this week though and check out everything I've missed. I love double Dave as a guitar player but idk there's just something about them that doesn't really click with me a good chunk of the time

i think i was a little bit too harsh on this band. I saw them live a few weeks ago and it was pretty fucking awesome. studio/arm chair listening still leaves alot to be desired, but its not bad

Unexpectedly more groovy fun than expected, nice fusion jazz/prog influenced in there, Hell yeah!

Agreed on live accounts. Seen them twice. Once when Existence is Futile dropped in 2010 and another time a couple years ago. Definitely prefer them in that setting tbh
