I am personally always down from a verse from Lil Kyo. I'd say to spice it up make a discog run by watching/listening to all the Modes for each album, that could be fun. They're all on Youtube I think.

Still not watched any Modes, shame on me.

You need Kyo becoming evil Thom Yorke in your life on Mode Vulgar, plus you could enjoy Marrow more which is a bonus.

That sounds insta-5 worthy.

It is.
If you watch any Mode, make it that one, especially since your problem with Vulgar is production.

I'd be tempted to go straight for DDS Mode...
|
| |
I recommend it if you haven't seen other DSS based shows.
It's got some great performances (the Hage one being the 2nd best version probably) but it gets trampled by previous competition imo (DSS Budokan, Rinkaku DVD, In Situ, Ghoul etc) however note I watched all those before DSS Mode dropped.

Listening atm and this thing sounds like Marrow Pt. 2
|

It kinda is until Aku, the lyrics are more disturbing than Marrow though.

kyo 100% not giving a fuck i guess

More like Kyo wanting to die...quite literally depression hit him hard late 2017 and the whole album's content revolves around that.
|
| |
Kyo has never been shy about this subject matter b4...among other dark subjects.
On the album, yeah I'm not digging this all that much. The intro track is pretty good. Aka was okay. Stopped after that. Got bored.

I low-key like Values of Madness, the chorus slams, and the end of the track is great.

The album title makes more sense to me now given that context.

Kyo always had serious mental problems; they used to be even worse in the self harming era. The difference was that the rest of them have much better music for him to voice his misery over on the previous records.

Glad the self harm days are over.
Was pretty hard to watch during the Marrow of the Bone years, both performance wise and the self harm.
|
| |
Yeah, the Marrow days were grim.
Saying that though, one show on the Quad Agis Tour (on the RInkaku DVD) is by far the most danger Kyo's ever been in. Should have never continued on that tour, lucky he didn't suffer serious injuries that night. As a positive though, that night delivered some of his best material.
