I've been a fan for years and I'm also questioning why it's this good honestly. If you like this Jesper, you should check out Deathgrip and Slave to Nothing from them. Both are really solid albums

i remember listening to creation / destruction a long time ago and wrote them off as just another generic metalcore band, but the avg/review for this one convinced me to check it out.. will def dive into more of their discog!

I think they made a mistake by releasing it first. It created way too much hype.

This album rips. Way better than Deathgrip. Sounds more like Slave To Nothing.

"I think they made a mistake by releasing it first." I mean, yeah it created a lot of hype, but personally the hype held up for me, definitely thought it was a great lead.

Definitely agree with you Kenbo, the riffing and overall sound is very reminiscent to Slave to Nothing.

Also the production on Deathgrip sounded off to me, like it was hollow. This album and STN sound massive.

I’m pretty sure Shattered Glass is one of their most intense songs overall. Correct me if I’m wrong.

"Shattered Glass" would be right at home on an Impending Doom record.

Yeah but it's like the only heavy song on here other than Tower... Backbreaker doesn't count cause it puts me to sleep.

I forgot about that song. It's not very good, they tried to do the nu-metalcore thing and it fell really flat. I feel like that song was put together in about 15 minutes.

Yeah, I'm still a bit salty that it didn't live up to my expectations. I thought Deathgrip was so close to being amazing, then Tower of Pain came out... I was just so sure this album would cave my head in, but it turned out just decent. I expect more from these guys, they're one of my favs.
