does anyone else think that this album was heavily influenced by The Shape of Punk To Come by Refused?

like Tannhauser/Derive off TSOPTC might as well have been on this album.

yeah, it sounds like it was influenced by that album in some ways. The Shape Of Punk to Come has basically influenced every punk band that's come after it.

So I definitely can't find this album anywhere at all, not even the local record store which has just about every record ever. Pisses me off.

I got it at FYE.

I found it at Best Buy, they have a lot of stuff there.

It's a little overrated IMO.

Yea, this album is pretty much perfect. The only faults I can even begin to see are the vocals, but even then - they're perfect. So really, the album is perfect.

I used to think it was. After a few more listens, and comparing it to other emoscreamo records, I saw the genius in it. It's pretty remarkable. The self titled ep is pretty amazing too.

It definitely is overrated.

No, I mean I enjoyed it immensely when I first got it. But I barely ever listen to it anymore. For me, that's the last factor for making an album essential, it's ability to be timeless.

I haven't listened to it in a long time.

Hopefully I enjoy it as much as you. I listened to the first half and loved the instruments, but the vocals are gonna take some time to grow on me.
