Ive decided i quite like it, a lot more than your wilderess.
For me not their best album, but quite good
Only Threatening War i think needed something more, like a rockier section in the middle or something, but the rest of the proper tracks are pretty good and i really like White Mist.
Its probably a 3.75 in truth.

Their last one left me a bit cold but I'll peep. Good review insomniac.

White Mist is a masterpiece, fucking Gaving Harrison mate, gorgeous drumming.

I love Far Below and White Mist but the other tracks are all just kinda fine. The album plays it safe. Your Wilderness was a more varied and memorable album. Not sure this will go down as one of their finer hours.

i dont know what to say about this. i feel very neutral towards it. nothing really draws me in, yet it's not a bad album either

Someone said in the comment that he went back to Mangolia for some heavier tracks.
Yes Mangolia has some heavier tracks like "Alone in the sea" and "The one you left to die" but nothing as heavy as 3000 days. Their best (heavy) track yet

White Mist is really good. Wish the guitars were a bit louder in the mix and the production a bit beefier

Pretty good album, although I prefer Your Wilderness. The standout here is White Mist which really is an exceptional track in almost every regard. Anyway, they have a new album this year and I just hope they'll stay consistent like they've managed to be for the last 15 years or so.

Yeah agreed, except this is grown to probably become my favourite now. Yeah I hope their next one can maintain this kind of quality. When's the album coming?
A shame that this doesn't get more traction, really enjoyed this one

So far we only know the album's coming this year, and they have a new tour in autumn. Won't miss them this time for sure.
I need to give this album more spins because I can't help but feel something is missing, it's got more energy than Your Wilderness, but few songs stand out to me. On the other hand, YW is mostly calm and brings the feels with it's moody arrangements. No Man's Land, That Shore, Tear You Up etc., all fantastic tracks that I can't get enough of.

Man Shed a Light is SO good. I think the live version might be even better. Love the transitions
@krpa I think this is my favourite of their's. I've really enjoyed this one. An improvement over the last one for sure Imo.
I think if the production was beefier like on Magnolia then the aggressive parts would hit even harder. The songwriting is really really good
