For me it's start Geyser, proceed to second song, stop halfway through. Go back to Geyser.

I like the second song a lot

The run from Pink in the Night to Two Slow Dancers is incredible.

I tried to get into the rest of the album in several listens but it won't click with me.

That's fair. c:
I think the album's strengths lie in its structure. There seems to be a general conceit of "peaks and valleys", or something like that: Geyser blows the album's figurative load from the get go, after which the album just doesn't want to stop but also can't match that initial high -- there seems to be a conflict between the speaker wanting to stop to catch her breath but also being unwilling to stop running toward whatever she's running toward, and eventually she just burns out and learns to accept the messiness of it all. I think it's more complex than that, but it's also simple enough that each of the songs are able to entwine their own little intracacies into a very powerful whole.

About to jam this hard. Waxahatchee in the similar bands got me super intrigued.

This is really good, and I don’t understand the shade thrown at her vocals.

Don't get the hype. It was meh to me when I checked it out. Maybe I'll try again.

How...how can you not grasp that someone might not dig her vocals? Like someone in this thread observed, she could sing for 24 hours straight and not touch upon an interesting melody. Like she drunk and listening to three songs simultaneously while thinking about a fourth and everything is sped up and her monitor is delayed 2.5’seconds

there's some kind of originality here but sometimes it feels like Nobody is the only actual "song".
