Maybe I'm just not good at recognizing effective ambience or something but it puts me to sleep which is annoying considering how much energy the rest of the album carries

That moment when horns come into full bloom at the latter half of Five Cups is one of my favorite parts of this record.
But it's a great idea with imperfect execution. Shave a single minute off that ambiance, and Sowing would be putting it in his top songs of the decade.

I sometimes skip Five Cups but it's a wonderful song. You kinda have to be in a dreamy mood. Although a close listen is nice, my fav moments are usually when I'm caught up in the swirling, slow instrumentation and something bursts out at you. Conor's vocals especially
