this album has its moments but really not getting the whole wave of female indie artists at the moment. Like it's decent enough but not deserving of the praise that sites like pitchfork are giving it

meh there have always been dope female indie artists, and overrated ones, I'm not one to deny the influence of P4k best new music and certain saturations of trends but I mean women are like half the world's population so it feels sort of weird to be like "wave"

yeah wave perhaps not the right word perhaps, but you get what I mean with p4k best new music etc. soccer mommy and Snail Mail are being raved about currently but I'm failing to see what is that exciting about these acts.
