2's last level was its best, so it got a lot better than the slow beginning. The drive forms were actually really good and it had some great boss fights but the story was terribad and like I said the party dynamics were all fucked up.
I'd still give it an 8 out of 10, but the first game was a 10/10.

The first one had so many great moments that 2 never came close to replicating, like the random boss encounters (Kurt Zisa, Clocktower Phantom, Shark in Ariel, Cheetah in Tarzan) the gummi ship pimping and blah blah blah I could go on all day.

Eh heart station is okay. First 3 albums aren't that great, nothing worth checking.
First game definitely has held up very well over multiple replays, it's got it's own unique charm. Gummi ships were fun, the beginning of the game is cute, the character moments weren't too cheesy yet. 2 wasn't complete shit but yeah the story did nothing for me, I couldn't get engaged.
