Jay's vocals are definitely growing on me here. He hasn't lost ANYTHING in the last 11 years. He gives just a slightly different style here on some songs but its definitely intentional.

yes it's all artistic direction. nothing to fault. only something to try and absorb and understand and the catchiness will appear after a few listens.

i still think magnetic north is jay's best performance, by far. but i love how he sounds on most songs here.
i'm still bothered about the production on the title track, but i admit the song has grown on me considerably. this might tie no wings to speak of as my third favorite hopesfall... what a time to be alive

and now we are left to wonder if there will be more Hopesfall albums and we will pine for them every day. and music videos from this album? and a live pro video of the New York or NC concerts???

Revolt, Revolve reminds me of Bird Flu some but not as catchy.

If someone here is going to any of the live shows, PLEASE record it in hi-def. Or find someone who will. PLEASE

that's the worst part. i mean, their merch sells quick, the first vinyl collection sold out in matter of hours, the second pressings sold out very fast and the concerts sold out incredibly fast too. i can only hope the success inspires them to stick together and write more stuff.

I know. I'm never going to feel like my vinyl collection is complete until I own a copy of Satellite Years on vinyl to go with A Types Magnetic North and Arbiter.

Listening to this band for the first time. First song is staggeringly good.

i don't know why the label has to produce batches like that if they sell like candy. i also don't know why they haven't reissued and remastered their entire discog on CD (or at least digitally) including frailty. maybe it has something to do with trustkill but ugh it's frustrating

the first thirty seconds of CS Lucky One and the last five seconds of I Catapult are literally the ghost of HUM. it's haunting.
almost finished with my tenth play-through.

Intro of "To Bloom" sounds like the beginning of any 30 Seconds to Mars song circa 2009 haha
