This is maybe the closest I've been in years to 5'ing something in the same year it was released. Been a huge Kid Cudi and Kanye fan forever....hated watching them go through those "rough" patches, so it just makes hearing this album so much sweeter.
I also quit my job around the time this came out, so the whole themes of letting go, moving forward, or even when Kanye obnoxiously yells "You should quit you job to this"; they really resonate almost too much for me

I dunno it gives off such a redemptive and refreshed vibe and I think people can really connect with that, but probably moreso people who are big fans of theirs to begin with
