Some songs on this are really amazing, these guys are prolly my fav oldschool cliche deathcore act. They can also play guitar solos, which is a definite bonus

They employ most of the early 00s deathcore tropes, also go way overboard with the vocals etc
For an example of a "modern" deathcore act I'd give the conotrtionist on "exoplanet" and ovid's withering. Also stuff that's actually old but doesn't follow these same tropes, like the red chord or oceano
For "oldschool" I'd name despised icon, as blood runs black and the like. Lost of melodic tremolo riffs, the use of pig squeals, gang shouts, inception breakdowns etc

Okay yeah I agree with all of that. I just thought you were referring to them as oldschool because they came out in like 2015, which in and of itself is definitely not oldschool for deathcore.
