"but as far as swancore goes, No Place remains untouchable"

but Plan B is easily ALLB's best album? also this was good for the first few tracks but then got boring tbh

they aren't one of my favorite bands or anything, but Plan B blew me away when it first came out and at this point it's really nostalgic for me

plan b > conversation piece > no place imo

Not a fan of swancore but this is pretty cool. Kurt Travis' singing reminds me of Shayley in a way that they're really emotional and often soar above the instruments. It's definitely more accessible than I expected.

"plan b > conversation piece > no place imo"

i am befuddled. Conversation Piece is fun and all but No Place has so much more substance ... I'd seriously argue that Connector is one of the best post-hardcore songs of all time, let alone just swancore

"wanted to like this but it's just Circa Survive-lite"

@Rowan5215 Agree with this. For that reason I want to like it, but as others have stated, the album drones on. There's no real highs, no real lows. No one song I can identify is better or worse than another.

I'm not sure what to rate this at the moment, but I'm thinking a 3.5 that could grow with more listens. Kurt sounds phenomenal and the music is great, very Circa Survive esque. There's just something about it that makes it hard to wrap my head around. Very dreamy and free flowing which I like. Regardless, I'll always be a Kurt fanboy and that won't change with this album.

Haha yea, this has Kurt Travis on vocals, Sergio Medina of Stolas on guitar, and Joe Arrington of ALLB on drums
