Holy shit that's awesome
Calling these guys a more melodic Bolt thrower is quite apt too

My expectations just skyrocketed into space

Especially since Antigone is their best

From what I've heard - by far.
But I also like Deaf to Our Prayers and Whatever It May Take.

Deaf to Our Prayers has some hard jams yeah
I like Iconoclast and Veto as well tho

Haven't heard Veto. But I'll go with this first.

A lot of people think the new album is too long and would be better trimmed down to a one-disc album but IMO there's really only like 2 or 3 songs that are "meh"

Completely with you there. It's old school melodeath riffage with ubermensch vox. The only song I didn't like was Expatriate or whatever it was called - but I'm guessing it was a long interlude of sorts.

Only a couple songs on disc 2 I like. First half is excellent though

I will say, they did a great job adding some variety. That was my biggest concern going into it. Just a number of songs sound like b-sides. It does have their best guitar work thus far imo.

New records is their best in years.

Hearing this for the first time in 5+ years, and while it's still a bit bland overall, I'm liking some of the songs. Totally forgot Corpsegrinder is in Prey To God.
