He got lost in a cyberpunk hole after an interview with Legs McNeil, where Legs commented on the electronic muscle simulator on Billy Idol's broken leg as being cyberpunk.

That's really funny. Honestly this album would've been a lot more fun if it went full Hackers with its cyberpunk aspects.



Doug Wimbish is the unspoken hero of this album. Without his involvement this album would've been a million times worse

Shock to the System is quite superb tho

Alas, this is soooo boring. With that crazy cover, I hoped for some electronic experiments etc. (my own fault, I know). Of course, nothing sounds cyberpunkish. Just the blandest pop music you can think of. Mother Dawn is quite okay. But that doesn´t help.
