Fallujah is not even in the same league as these guys. Was afraid I might lower this after second listen but this thing slaps. Need to get into more prog death.

trust me man not even you will like Persefone. Their only "okay" album is Core though so if you start with them, start with that.

I'm simply a superior being. Not your fault, us martians have the genetic advantage.

The problem is that Persefone is not trve-kvlt old-school death metal so it ain't gonna appeal to Gastral Abortion here

(pulling your leg, don't worry, I got no qualms with ya)

If you appreciate some good prog/tech metal, they're worth a check if nothing else. If you're leaning more towards the tech side, start with either Aathma or Spiritual Migration. If you're preferring the prog death metal, go to Core (which is imo their best).

I'm probably one of the biggest advocates of modern tech death and prog death on the site so I really don't get this image I'm associated with """""old school"""" (dumbass fucking term) death metal.

Snox ily bro but I disagree so hard. I've been digging a lot more prog/tech death these days than I used to and these dudes are one of my favs.

Like I said I'm mainly messing, but in all due seriousness I generally see you around those kind of releases and disagreeing with tech ones. I could absolutely be wrong, in which case my b, but that's my experience.

Yet you’re happy to overrate 2.5-3’s into 4.5 and 5’s..... sounds like calling the kettle black to me
