These guys just have the tendency to repeat their choruses too much.

Plenty of catchy songs to enjoy here (though the lyrics are what they are). Nevertheless, They definitely ROCK.

Not a bad review. However, I think that "Animal I Have Become" is really nothing special, and I'd rather take nothing at all than the crap-fest that is "Pain".

this is a pretty good album. my favorites are riot, never too late, and pain. animal i have become is sweet and so is its bass line but it got old after it being on the radio 50000000000000 times a day. the radio ruins everything.

awesome album!! better than their first one

I'm going to have to disagree with you on what "Never Too Late" really is about. its not just about suicide. it's also about hope and having a second chance.

three days grace isn't such an amazing band now that i realize it. i mean, they wrote a few good songs, but for the most part, they're nothing special.

They have some decently catchy songs on this album. It's 20X better than the s/t. Then again 20X0=0

"it seems like all he talk about is a woman"
apparently this album can be taken to be talking about either women or drugs... probably both, you can see this in songs like over and over. He could easily be talking about a woman, but they've also talked a lot about drug addiction so could also be that. Anyway, I find this album slightly worse than the first one, but only after listening to it loads. It gets a bit boring after a while. There are some great songs on this though: Animal I have become, Time of dying and never too late are probably my favourites.

does anyone else find it ironic that 3DG wrote a song called Overrated?

Everybody that dislikes the band probably noticed.

i just saw them in concert last month and they sound great live but they arent very enthusiastic. especially the dude with the mohawk lol he kinda looked pissed off. but they are still one of my favorite bands. i was just a little disappointed.

The thing I really like about this band is their guitar style. It's one of my favorites to utilize in my playing, and it's probably why my band enjoys covering TDG so much. A very powerful tops off the music perfectly. My only complaints is that it's somewhat generic. If they made a whole album like Riot or Animal I Have Become I'd be amazing for sure...I'm just not sure they're capable of that.
The good news for me is the the band is obviously evolving and improving themselves over time, and I believe they can only get better. They know how to make a good song for sure. The talent is all there...it's just not been fully utilized yet I think.

If these guys and Breaking Benjamin were to record each other's songs, no one would be able to tell the difference.
