"@hopelust Thanks man. Shoulda just bought it as a digital album. Oh well....."

Honestly you won't regret having the physical copy. Sounds a lot better coming from the disc than it ever did coming from spotify or bandcamp.

I’m jealous as hell. Denver’s the closest date to me and that’s a 12 hour drive

Has anyone paid attention to the rest of their discography? Anything hold a candle to this album?

There is a wide variety of opinions regarding that.

In my case, this is my favorite, but the others are definitely worth checking.

Yeah I think this is their best by a longshot. Grievances showed glimpses of what they were capable of but this is their crowning achievement imo

This is their crowning achievement for me, their other stuff is worth checking though. Some of Grievances is straight up fire, but this remains more cohesive as a whole. I used to be a big fan of their earlier stuff when I was younger.

Like Dewi said, plenty of variation in opinion on that one.

@bloc I'm a physical copy kind of person. I like the romance of having to wait for it to arrive, unwrapping it, and then having something physical that I can draw back on for lyrics and such. I know everything is pretty much on the internet now, but I like getting the entire package. I think, when done well, it adds a layer to the product as a whole.

Took you 2 weeks to respond so I have lost interest and found someone else...

But seriously, I like digipak's a lot. Something about a carboard sleeve makes the package seem so futuristic compared to a plastic square jewel case. Plus, digipaks don't always equal minimalism. Take Meteora by LP for example. It's a digipak but you get the fattest booklet of all time stuffed in it.

Physical copies rule. Broken jewel cases make me sad so I’m cool with digipacks, they’re not always minimalist like you say.

Yeah broken jewel cases suck. I can live with a crack, but if it shatters it's game over.

The Meteora booklet was seriously nice. So much better than the annoying HT fold-out.
