The 90's hardcore/death metal band? Hell yeah. That cover is sick.

For no specific reason it kinda feels special, like an instant classic for me. Mostly the albums you have those feels for are kind of the best though.

Good that somebody feel passionate about it.

I really like the progression from straight up mosh band to whatever kind of punk we're calling this.

I’ve always looked at them as a groove heavy hardcore band if that makes any sense lol

It definitely does. As long as you mean they're heavy on the grooves and not a heavy hardcore band. There should probably be a hyphen in there somewhere.

People say Doof never appreciates albums that are purely ‘dumb fun’...well, this fits the bill.
Honestly reminds me of ‘Nevermind’ in its unfussy and seemingly effortless approach. Also some Pixies influence in those backing vox at times. Some of the riffs are super familiar of course.

"As if the band wasn’t actually having fun with it, as a band of this sort should, in order to create an impressive record, but sat around in discussion of how to sound as though they’re having fun… Odd predicament."
sounds like you're complaining just to complain doggie
