Album Rating: 4.5
Hot take: This is unexpectedly one of the best albums about PTSD ever. He really talks to himself a lot here, like partitioning a part of your identity into art to help your everyday self.
"She wanna sit in my lap." - About a glock.
"Bullets through my body, I'm a different shawty, you my favorite mess"
"It's the same dude, brown boots, chest open. I travelled down the road and back again, my girl's golden."
"I just want to love you, baby. 40, I'll draw you baby."
The disjointed nature of the lyrics bouncing between stress and humor is a pretty damn accurate mental snapshot.
I really enjoy all the comparisons between the military and hired thugs, too...
