I actually find this album to be pretty enjoyable. Sure, it may not be as complex and experimental as Remain In Light or Speaking In Tongues, but it's a damn solid pop-rock album with a lot of catchy riffs and wordplays. In fact, I think it's comparable to the band's first two albums, both lyrically and musically. And man, man, MAN, is Road To Nowhere a good song...

yeAh this album is pretty bland other than a few songs. it's weird how talking heads transitioned from Speaking in Tongues to this because Speaking in Tongues (as well as pretty much everything they released up to that point) is a million times more creative and daring than this
