I think this album is pointless. The new songs are nothing special ("Imperfection" is BAD in my opinion). they just covered their old songs. How can you call this a "new album"? Jesus, write something new

I actually like "Imperfection". I think it has the most well-thought out instrumentation and it's nice to hear Amy sing at a faster tempo than she normally does.

What I don't like about the song is the awkward high notes Amy sings when she puts emphasis on the first syllable of "into" in the pre-chorus: "I wanna lift you up into the light..."

Also, the line "Don't look now but the little girl's got a grenade" is unintentionally hilarious for some reason.

I didn't particularly hate Evanescence; I just felt that in a lot of songs, it feels like Amy's trying to fight to instrumentation for power, which ends up sounding like oversinging to me.

I guess I just prefer when Amy tones down the vocals and uses a more brooding voice, like in "Snow White Queen", "Weight of the World", "Your Star", and "Good Enough".

The song "Hello" shows that Amy can do well with very little instrumentation. Regardless, I don't think this album is really anything for Evanescence fans to get excited about. It's mostly just a rehash of their old material.

Amy can be quite haunting and warm when she tries. That beautiful tone will always remain her trademark.

The more I listen to this the more I don't mind it. Amy Lee's voice is still one of the best in the business.

Oddly enough listening to the remade self-titled tracks makes me appreciate the self-titled a little more.

If Amy wasn't singing her heart out on this, my score would probably be way lower. Really uninspired release.

This could have been so fantastic, but the orchestral arrangements are just so... lackluster, and the wubba-dubba dub dubs are well produced but they're so jarring it detracts from the whole experience.

Also, they butchered Bring Me To Life and as an emo kid that's unforgivable.

I didn't like this version of that song at first but it really grew on me.

But then there the are pointless remixes such as My Immortal and Lacrymosa
