of course it doesn't make it worthwhile, i'm just saying "nobody cares" when regarding taylor swift and her relationships is completely factually incorrect.

^ so true. honestly, i think people just hate on taylor swift for the same reason they hate on justin bieber: because they're easy targets and people are prone to making fun of those who listen to them. taylor swift isn't doing anything revolutionary here, just making fun pop music.

'Fuck Taylor Swift. She’s fucking boring and no one cares anymore.'
Nah, after the commercial smash hit that her last record was I'm pretty sure a lot more people were hyped about this one than usual

the problem is not that she focuses on her ex-boyfriends/persona, the problem is that she sucks at it. kanye's stories are more interesting than taylor's, s¿her stuff is just trite at this point

'the problem is not that she focuses on her ex-boyfriends/persona, the problem is that she sucks at it.'
This can easily be fixed with a talented support staff/ghost writer though

it could be fixed, but until she pays for it, we won't be seeing the results

i don't come to taylor swift for good lyricism lol. try enjoying the hooks more instead of focusing on her subpar lyrics

Her lyrics on 1989 were fine
|

what's wrong with the lyrics here? and how are they worse than your fav xtreme metal band?

the lyrics on here are pretty awful. the hooks are also mostly pretty bad.
getaway car is nice tho.

well your image DOES matter, in fact, it matters a lot whether you like it or not. certainly more to her since she's super rich and famous. idk, but if her fans are incapable of understanding how different her life is and always will be compared to them, then that's on them and not her, imo.

tbh, i don't get from some of y'all pop-haters. when britney spears was a sexualized teenager who didn't behave like a "proper" girl, y'alls hated that.
then taylor swift comes up as an unfoundedly innocent girl whom just wanted a boy to connect to - y'all also hated that. maybe people liked her because she was "wholesome" (relative) and simple. someone you could meet next door.
"all she writes is songs about boys," and yet, now that she's writing songs that aren't just about boys, y'all still don't like it. 😴

bruh, let's not get into that pls. and i'm pretty sure most people have already agreed that that song was bad lyrically (both for implictly and explicitly).

People complaining about her image tend to be the same people who love artists like burzum, a known arsonist and murderer, so whenever i see critiques about how she presents herself i can't help but laugh a little

"Look What You Made Me Do" implying she has carte blanche because someone made her the act a certain way. No one made her do anything, it's an excuse to do whatever she wants and blame it on someone else. Typical feminist thought pattern.'
Hahaha jesus christ dude you're looking way too hard into this lmao

I like a lot of artists who seem like complete and utter douchebags. It's not as hard for me to separate the art feom the artist.

Yeah that aiw guy is prob trolling tbh

Idk I've seen a ton of people take stances like that irl so I don't even know when someone is trolling or serious any more at this point

Yeah it's hard to tell in 2017
