had zero problem with the vox. i’m glad they sound a little more raw after the feldman touch plagued imaginary enemy

After I jammed some other Used albums then went back to The Canyon the production did sound a bit off to me but I still like it. It matches the feel of the songs and lyrics

same tho the production has been one of the biggest problems with the two albums before this so im glad they opted for this production approach

out of all my favourite albums of the year this is probably the most subjective, I can see all the criticisms of it but it’s actually already had a large emotional impact on me. I don’t even like any of their other albums bar the first two, yet still The Divine Absence has me choking up

even got it on vinyl lol

"don't say kicked out we don't know why"

Unfortunately, now we know Justin leaves the band because of "creative differences", (not get kicked out, btw) and apparently that differences was so serious that the band had to make restrain orders on him.

Oh, drama asides, I think this album is one flawed yet highly brilliant one, if it wasn't for this album, I wouldn't have heard of them.

The production and mixing may be a bit off and the lyrics can be melodramatic given to the first track(which depends on you), but they flourish the album as a brilliant and rawly emotional music work, thanks to the maturity shown in the album.

yeah he was but it seems like the original members that are left are just being dicks at this point because Quinn, their original guitarist, is suing them for stealing his work too
