My fave Converge album. Not saying a whole lot since I’m not generally a converge fan, but this album is good. I’ve got a dusk in us hoodie around here somewhere.

honestly at this point if you claimed literally any of their albums was your favorite aside from Halo I don’t think you’d get much pushback.
I agree more with dedes tho, this is probably top 5 for me and there’s a bunch of songs that I would consider some of their best. Single Tear, I Can Tell You About Pain, Arkhipov Calm, Wildlife, Reptilian, Murk and Marrow, and Thousands of Miles Between Us are all fucking gold. Even the weaker tracks are still solid.

It's got a somber energy that I don't think Converge has captured quite on the same level off of most of their albums, aside from a few tracks i.e You Fail Me t/t and Pheonix in Flight. I love all their albums but none of them make me quite distinctly sad like this one sorta does.

Honestly I'm surprised by how clear this production is, and how groovy and accessible these songs seem. Thought this record was more all around heavier, but it has been a long while since I heard this lol
Really agreeing with Dedes too
