i think at this point in his life he probably won't allow himself to have some suits boss him around, he has power and control over his stuff as he earned it over the years.

i think it still sounds pretty polished but definitely has a more hard-hitting, almost punk attitude to it. hardly “fade away” or “headshrinker” but relatively speaking dude sounds like hes havin it
some fuckin tunes on this one. its radio rock but with some actual good songwriting underneath it all
btw As It Was was pretty good
