I'm definitely in the minority but Eat Me, Drink Me is better than anything Manson has done since Holy Wood besides The Pale Emperor. I love the atmosphere and the instrumentals on that record. Some of the lyrics are pretty cringe but I'd put "Just A Car Crash Away" and the title track up there with the best best Manson material. Skold killed it on that album as well. Great solos all over the place.

Sad to see this isn't as great as Pale Emperor. Deep Six and Third Day are honestly my two favourite Manson tracks.

I'd have that over "We Know Where You Fucking Live", I really didn't dig the video for that.

This is getting better with every listen tbh
Want to buy the vinyl because the loud production style is very draining but haven't seen much said about the pressing quality

Havent had a chance to really pay attention to the production on this, but Im gonna go ahead and guess that the brickwalling on this is pretty appropriate

Yeah Pale Emperor is definitely better. This is very...OK.
And yeah I almost got this on vinyl today but I picked up Morningrise instead.

I'd have let you know TVC, but the pricks delayed the shipment. In fact, now I think about it, that could be why no one has mentioned the sound quality on the vinyl yet. haha
But yeah, the production on this isn't great imo. The drums are so fucking muddy.

After multiple listens, I'm loving the instrumentation. But, I admit, I'm having a hard time getting past all these terribleeeee lyrics. It's just bad. Highlights for me are the final 3 songs, especially "Blood Honey".
