Not sure if I’d say this is as good as Blue Sky Noise (just better songwriting), but that’s only after one listen. That said, I’m really liking the vibe of this. It puts you under this spell, ethereal and otherworldly. Very interesting.

After a half dozen listens, I’m going with 3.5. Good but not great. BSN is better imo.
This has some great fucking songs (Act Appalled, We’re All Thieves, Stop the Fucking Car, Wish Resign), but a lot of the other songs are kinda samey and/or a bit dull. Not bad though. I think this has the potential to grow more. Gonna check out On Letting Go tomorrow. I really like these guys so far.

This is really growing on me lately. Very consistent album. Bumped up to a 4.
These guys basically make 4 albums. I think I have literally all their albums at a 4, though I’m considering bumping a few to 4.5s. Gotta see if they grow more. They make great albums, no duds and very consistent, but none of them quite rise to masterpiece level. A few are closer than others though (namely BSN, VW and Descensus).
