Tough to say. Emergence definitely grabbed me a lot quicker and easier. Transience seems to spread its best moments out more (it is quite a bit lengthier), and I'd say the first/last two tracks are where it really shines. For now, I'd put them about equal, but if someone asked me which I enjoyed listening to more for the first few listens, I'd say Emergence.

It's taken quite a few spins, but I'd say it's properly clicked with me now. And while I don't want to discredit Emergence, Transience definitely benefits even more from repeat listens.

But yeah, it's really good.
Although, I'm only on song 2 but already I fear its easy listening qualities. They better add some barbs soon.

I will! They have built a very solid overall sound from what I've listened to. There is a lot of stuff running in the background and the production helps tons.

Can not believe I havent heard of this fantastic band. I usually hate black metal but the mix of Melodic Death Metal and Progressive elements makes this a AMAZING album!
