The lyrics are hot garbage and they basically admitted to writing it to score a hit on American radio. Seems it duped you all too

I quickly realized dinosaurs and man hadn't been a good idea, but I was too busy headbanging to have an objective thought about it. How can anyone think of anything when they're listening to The Trooper?

They can't, they'd be lying if they said otherwise

I advise anyone who wants to know how a heavy metal riff should sound, to listen to THE TROOPER.

Comparing Korn to GODS OF METAL is the same as putting a Trump speech after Aristotle.

Live After Death
the 4 big songs off of powerslave are on it, and many believe the live versions are better than the studio versions, myself included, so a lot of people were listening to LAD over Powerslave for that reason
you have to keep in mind, albums were not as readily available as they are today....you had to buy them, or copy them on to a cassette from someone who already had it, if you wanted to listen to it
