yeah anything TDAG onward is a maturity leap
YFW and Deja are kinda teenage adolescent anxiety BS but I still have a strong nostalgia attachment

Funny enough I felt like DAG was most accessible to me. I suppose that's particularly due to my fondness for Metal.

TDAG is just as angsty as Deja tbh, it's just that the band's songwriting had matured where their demons hadn't
and their best hooks are all on Daisy or Deja let's be real here

let me rephrase and say
most accessible, easily quickly attachable memorable hooks

TDAG is miles ahead of Deja lol anyone who argues needs to have not peaked in high school

whereas TDAG is for people who desperately wish they had peaked in high school and vent it with a toxic mopey show of all their subsequent regrets as an adult

After listening to Blur non-stop for a week, I'm surprised how much musical DNA they share with Brand New. Songs like '1992', 'Clover Over Dover' & 'Chemical World' wouldn't sound too out of place on here.
Or I've just overdosed on Blur and I'm hearing them in everything now...

Just someone who doesn't actually know anything about this band weighing in here; all their music is angsty [informal. : feeling, showing, or expressing anxiety, apprehension, or insecurity], but the source of said angst changes as they grow older from high school drama to existential crises. Angst isn't synonymous with immaturity, it's a universal human emotion that this band just happened to convey better than most in their scene.
