daisy doesn't feel right to go out on, although i do think it's better than this. this feels like more of a proper follow up to devil and god, and a logical end for the band

After a while I started to think Daisy would be it too, but Gyro is right about this feeling like a proper end.

Speaking of which, I saw a post that the band was hanging out again. I don't expect that they were doing anything other than that, but it was nice to see after all the problems.

I don’t know where they could even take their sound from here. I’m perfectly fine with this being the end, just bummed as hell I never got to see them live.

I want the 100s of demos/full songs they surely have recorded to leak.

I dont see them ever putting more music out. im not sure how wealthy Jesse is but id say at least in the low millions or so. that is plenty to ride off into a shameful sunset

I get hanging it up, but I can't help wondering what a demo dump with all proceeds going to organizations combatting women's abuse would do for the band’s image and fan's sense of closure alike. It wouldn't have to come with any formal announcement or admission, just a gesture of good will that would end their career on a slightly less negative note.

That said, Lacey is a perfectionist and probably would hate releasing something unfinished (at least on purpose). So I doubt it will ever happen even though it's clearly the correct PR move.

just not sure how. he's pretty young so compound interest hasn't been on his side much yet, assuming he is even a principled saver/investor. and bands don't make a ton from streaming. tours + merch get you the big bucks but of course that ain't happened in years

who knows
